About Us
Meet Dietitian, Samantha Furka (she/ her)

Samantha has held a genuine passion for health, wellbeing and nutrition since her early high school
years, which inspired her to pursue a career in Dietetics, completing a bachelor’s degree in Nutrition
& Dietetics with Honours at the University of Wollongong.
Her journey as a Dietitian began in a busy hospital environment, where she practised as a Clinical
Dietitian for over 5 years, managing the complex nutrition needs of patients with a diverse range of
medical conditions. During this time, she particularly gravitated towards patients presenting to
hospital with eating disorders, most of whom were desperate to heal broken relationships with
food.
Additionally, Samantha enjoys working with infants, children and adolescents and has
completed specific training in nutrition in paediatrics.
Samantha’s own personal food philosophy is to feed oneself with balance, nourishment and
compassion. She is an enthusiastic advocate for the non-diet approach, having witnessed the
harmful physical and mental effects of dieting during her work with patients in the hospital.
From all aspects, she aims to provide sound and evidence-based nutrition information and practical
strategies to support and empower her clients to release any fears or anxieties they may feel
surrounding food. With her calm and gentle nature, she endeavours to create a safe space for all
people to show up exactly as they are and feel brave enough to make change. It is her heartfelt hope
that with support, you will find the courage and develop the skills to listen to your body and honour
its unique and ever-evolving needs.
Outside of work, you can find Samantha waking up with the sun for an early morning walk, pilates
class or high intensity training (depending on the day!) and of course a good coffee to follow. Or,
engrossed in a book about romance and adventure, or floating around the kitchen cooking
something Italian-inspired, or even enjoying dinner out somewhere in sparkling Sydney with her new
hubby or friends! Samantha loves to sprinkle small acts of self-care into her day whenever she can, &
hopes to inspire and motivate others to do the same.
Meet clinic director & Dietitian, Emma Robertson (she/ her)

I started my private practice in 2009, but decided to specialise in eating disorder treatment in 2015, and haven't looked back! You’ll find the formal stuff first, then a bit more about me personally 🙂

Alongside private practice, I’ve worked as a Health Coach on various private and government run programs, helping clients with all manner of health goals, from quitting smoking, to managing stress. I dedicate all my professional development budget (plus some! oops..) to learning as many treatment methods as possible, to be as flexible and responsive to client needs as possible, and providing an alternative reality for people who want to enjoy life without body image getting in the way. I’m a mum of two young girls (plus golden retriever furbaby), and am still learning how to juggle family, running a business, and having fuel left in the tank for myself 😉 I practised martial arts for 12 years before kids, and still try to get some pad or mat work in when I can. I also took up soccer in my forties for the team vibes and to learn a new skill. Yes, we get smashed every week and we still love it! 🙂
My Nutrition Philosophy
Food is supposed to be one of life’s pleasures, but for so many of us it’s a source of guilt, anxiety and confusion. It shouldn’t be like this! I want to help you to enjoy a better relationship with food again, so you can get on with the rest of your life. I’ll help you get back in touch with your body’s ways of telling you what it needs (hint: you know more than you think!), so you’ll never need, or want, to get back on the diet cycle again.
